Happy 30th Birthday Karen!

Last night Mark and I celebrated Karen's 30th birthday. Though her birthday was back in January, Brian put together a great surprise night. The group was great with a reunion of most of their wedding party (if you will remember, Mark and I met at Karen and Brian's engagement party). Surprises for the night started with the dinner at Spark's steakhouse then a special delivery from The Cake Boss for Karen's cake decorated like the Tiffany's box that was her gift from Brian. We all then ventured over to the Chamber Magic show at the Waldorf. The show was excellent and full of great illusions...all up until he had everyone think of a well-known city in the United States. Then he pulled a woman from the audience and asked her to write down the name of her city. Then he asked her to look at a map and see if she saw her city on the map, which she said that she did. He kept asking questions until he pin pointed the city. He guessed that her city was in New Mexico, which she agreed it was, then picked Santa Fe. She said yes, until she realized that her city was San Antonio, but didn't know that San Antonio was in TEXAS, not New Mexico. Ladies and gentlemen, she was NOT smarter than a 5th grader! Thanks to Brian for planning such a special night!

And the first picture is Bennett eating ice cream for the first time!

It's about time on the ice cream. Did he like it?
