I finally broke down and went to the chirpractor. Because I now have to be at home by 6 in order to make it to Dr. Glenn on time I have been able to check out everyone's blogs and am motivated to keep people posted on what Mark and I are doing. Therefore, I am going to post some back dated pics from the past couple of months to show what we have been doing!
This is Mark and I at the Michigan v. App State Game last year. We kept taking pictures of the scoreboard because we thought that it was impossible for App to stay on top of Michigan for any amount of time. How wrong we were!
Shortly after that was Mark's 30th birthday. Julie, Brad, Tim, Emily, Brian, Karen, Rich and Rebecca all met us in Atlantic City and surprised Mark. We went to this great seafood restaurant and Mark got this gigantic crab...he was in heaven!
We met the gang back again for New Year's in Orlando and rang in 2008 in Epcot. We had to come dressed and ready to go early in the day so by the time 2008 came we were sweaty and tired, but it was a great trip!
In February we went to Seattle to meet our new Niece, Lucy, and saw Kyle and Cynthia. I posted the picture of the Art Auction that we all went to that was her first social event of her life--all and all a good event! After that we took the train up the west coast to Vancouver on our way to Whistler for some skiing.
The next month we were back in Canada again for the Principal Classic trip, which was in Banff right outside of Calgary.
At the end of the month we were in Pensacola, FL for mom's retirement ceremony--ding dong the Navy's gone!! Pic above is of the BBQ that we had the day before. Jim and Eileen came to help celebrate as well, so it was a great family gathering.
We were in DC four weeks ago for a Principal event that Julie and I were both at. The Thursday that we were there, we went to The Park, a nightclub in DC, and were wondering why there were so many tall people. It turns out that we had stumbled upon Lebron James' party! We went to Tim and Em's the next day and got some quality Scottie time.
Last week Julie and I were off to Paris for a long girl's weekend where we visited Michael in his last two weeks of a semester abroad and did some good shopping even though the exchange rate was terrible! It is always fun to go to Europe, though, and with a direct 7-hour flight, it is just as long as the round-trip commute to work in the summer!!
So now the test begins...can I stay motivated to keep this up?? We'll see!!
