Low Budget Slip and Slide

Andrew and Jen just left today after a great long visit. We spent some good time on the boat, introducing them to our favorite restaurants in town, and seeing the fun Fairfield County sites (see picture at the Norwalk aquarium in front of the albino alligator). On Saturday, however, the swells were too big on the sound to go out on the boat, but it was SUPER hot and humid, so we took a roll of plastic that Mark had in the garage and created a slip and slide in the back yard. Totally ghetto, but lots of fun. We can't wait to use them for their condo in the winter:-)

Triathlon

So as my 28th birthday present, Emily thought it would be fun to do a triathlon. After a strong start in the swim and the bike, I hit the run with jello for legs. There were two loops on the run and Mark had to run the last one with me to keep pace. Overall, I am glad that we did it and it was great to stay at the Babcocks and see Mattie!
