Slow Ride

The Kline parents and the boy came to visit the week before last to see us, the pups and the boat. Little did dad know, however, that he would become addicted to guitar hero. "Slow Ride" proved to be the most challenging--I had to go to bed before we got through slow ride on Saturday night, but we got through it on Sunday:-)

The Scotts!

Tim and Emily Scott visited us this weekend from Washington, DC. We were able to go out in the boat for the first time with friends, which meant that we were able to ride in a tube behind the back of the boat. It was really fun and a great way to spend a really hot June day. The last time that I was on the tube I hit a big wave, flew 5 feet in the air and got major whiplash--was really fun while it lasted, though, and the water in the Sound is just on the verge of being the right temperature to swim in!

Hershey PA

Alison was in Hershey this past weekend on business--first visit to Hershey. It was like dying and going to chocolate heaven! The street lamps were in the shape of Hershey Kisses and when you check into the hotel, they give you a Hershey bar. So much for the triathlon training--bring on the chocolate! Can't wait to get back for a social visit!
