Spring Break | with Daddy

Bennett has been out of school for the last week with another week to follow. So Daddy and him have been playing outside a lot. With the weather warming up there have multiple trips to many different farms as well as daily trips in to the woods.

So I can so I can!!

Cupcake!

Mark was in Atlantic City this weekend and we had another 14 inches of snow. I ended up shoveling out the back deck (2nd pregnancy, second time shoveling pregnant:-)) and then making cupcakes to account for the extra calorie burn of a 19 month old at home and shoveling snow. Bennett had one too--up until this point, he really played with the frosting, but never really ate any of it. This time it looks like he has learned some new tricks from Mark and wanted to just eat the frosting!!

Disney on Ice Jan 15th

This weekend we took a gamble and decided to bring Bennett to see Disney on Ice at Harbor Arena.  He was either going to be ridiculously squirmy and we would leave early or he would love it.  It turned out that he LOVED it...especially the first hour.  The second hour was a little slow, but he still was engaged.  Sat in Grandma's lap the entire time and just was a really happy time for all of us.

Fall/Winter 2010

So it has been a long time since I have posted out here--with the new format, Mark is so much better at it, I normally just leave it to him! I took a bunch of pictures from my camera, though, so I figured I would post them. Our most recent activity was the Christmas blizzard that came on the 26th. On the 27th, Mark was at work and it was still too cold and snowy to go outside, so Bennett wore more out switching from activity to activity...here are a couple of good pictures of our fun! There are also Halloween pics and Annie's 30th birthday party...enjoy!

Family Photo

We finally got around and had some real family photos done. Since I am always taking photos, we have a lot of Ali & Bennett. Last week we were visiting our friends in NOVA and decided to set up a shoot with my friend Marta in Fredericksburg, VA. Despite the cold weather and the 7+ hour car trip down the day before, Bennett was real good for the camera. Not for long though. A little break down at the end but it was all worth it!
